To obtain a BOMI International certificate and/or designation, students are required to successfully complete and pass an exam at the end of each course. Students have a six-month eligibility period to schedule and take their exam. For online self-paced courses, the eligibility period begins on the date of registration; for classroom students, the eligibility period begins as of the first day of class. If a student does not take the exam within this period, the student must pay an Exam Administration Fee to begin a new six-month eligibility period.
All BOMI International exams are available for in-person, Computer-Based Testing (CBT) through our testing provider, Pearson VUE, with the exception of Ethics Is Good Business® ShortCourse™ which is available exclusively through the BOMI International learning portal. CBT allows BOMI International to maintain exam integrity and provide exam takers with the highest level of service and security.
Online Proctored Testing
You can now take all our exams, with the exception of Real Estate Investment & Finance, from the comfort of home with our online, proctored testing. Our online exams are available through OnVUE, a division of Pearson VUE.
Per Pearson Vue’s OnVue policy, it is recommended that learners not use work computers because of firewalls that interfere with the Online Proctoring setting. You will need to make sure you are not logged into VPN and that there are no firewalls preventing access. It is recommended you take your OnVUE exam using a different device or offsite.
