GSA FBPTA-ALIGNED PROVIDER
The Facilities Management Institute (FMI) of the US General Services Administration (GSA) has completed a comprehensive review of BOMI International's curriculum and identified several courses/programs that meet many of the core competencies that building and facility personnel need to perform key job functions and
operate high-performance buildings.
Key Job Functions:
Facilities Operation and Management, Facilities Maintenance and
Engineering, Technology, Energy Management, Safety, Design,
Sustainability, Water Efficiency, Project Management, Business, Budget
and Contracting, Leadership and Innovation, and Performance Measures.

The US GSA has worked with
industry representatives to define the competencies (knowledge,
skills, and abilities) that federal building and facility personnel need to perform
their job effectively. They have also approved providers of courses,
certifications, degrees, licenses, and registrations in the industry
that align with these core competencies. |
